Welcome to Kids’ Kampus! We are a boutique, owner operated childcare centre located in Mt Eden, central Auckland. We’re so much more than just a daycare — we’re here to walk alongside you on your parenting journey. Envision a home away from home, where your child will be exposed to new opportunities that encourage them to socialise, discover, and develop vital skills and tools whilst having lots of fun along the way.

Our passionate, qualified educators deliver a flexible, creatively tailored programme, grounded in Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s Early Childhood Curriculum, and inspired by Montessori principles.

Our centres, named Koru House and Kauri House, have been beautifully converted from two spacious traditional Mt Eden bungalows. Each home has been extended and thoughtfully re-purposed to create a welcoming and relaxed environment. Designed to preserve the essence of a real family home, our open-plan kitchen and family rooms are the heart of our centres where we get together each day to eat, play, and hang out with our friends. Children aged between 0 to 5 years of age can enjoy their days in both indoor and expansive outdoor play and learning areas.

We know that choosing childcare is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make as a parent — it’s not just about care, it’s about trust. That’s why we’ve created a space where families feel seen, supported, and truly part of the journey. With just 75 children across two centres on our half-acre Mt Eden site, our intentionally small size allows for high teacher-to-child ratios, low stress, and strong, meaningful relationships. We’re here for your child — and for you. We partner with parents to support each child’s growth, character, and confidence in these formative years, working together to help your little one thrive.

curriculum &
montessori
Kids’ Kampus has developed an excellent, creatively differentiated and flexible preschool programme based on the New Zealand National Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whaariki and Montessori.
Your child will be included in a small group of children of similar age and development. They will be given opportunity to participate in exciting activities with their own group and also in larger groups each day, exploring art, role play, stories / drama, music, literature, science, construction, maths, geography, problem solving and much more.
The centre is extremely well resourced with thought-provoking and varied equipment, as well as our inspirational Montessori programme which we have integrated with the New Zealand Te Whāriki Curriculum.
