Over 20 years ago Margie Blackwood opened Kids’ Kampus in her own home, now the current Preschool for 2 to 5 year olds. A few years later Kids’ Kampus expanded into the adjacent property, now the Babies and Toddlers Centre for children aged 0 to 2 years old.

Our service is founded on Christian values. In practice, this means we actively promote qualities of character that enhance a sense of responsibility towards society and others.

As we work in partnership with families, we aim to realise the full potential in every child through the provision of a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where they develop and build self esteem, becoming confident and competent learners and communicators, identifying their natural strengths and gifts. Kids Kampus’ Managing Director, Margie Blackwood is a New Zealand General and Maternity Nurse (10 years). In addition she has a: Certificate in Community and Social Work, South Auckland (2 years), Intermediate Certificate in Counselling (2 years), Bachelor of Education and Psychology Degree (3 years), Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching, Diploma Montessori, London (2 Years) and is a New Zealand Registered Teacher.

Kids’ Kampus is Licensed and Chartered by the Ministry of Education.
