Over 25 years ago Margie Blackwood opened Kids’ Kampus in her own home, now the current Preschool for children up to 5 years. A few years later Kids’ Kampus expanded into the adjacent property, now the Babies and Toddlers Centre for children aged up to 3 years old.
Our service is founded on Christian values. In practice, this means we actively promote qualities of character that enhance a sense of responsibility towards society and others.
As we work in partnership with families, we aim to realise the full potential in every child through the provision of a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where they develop and build self esteem, becoming confident and competent learners and communicators, identifying their natural strengths and gifts.
Kids’ Kampus is Licensed by the Ministry of Education and registered with Work & Income .

"Nothing in the world can take the place of character. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with great talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
